Johnston Communications will be hosting Project Blue Light in the Carroll community on Thursday, March 22, in support for our local law enforcement.
“We are very excited to be bringing Project Blue Light to Carroll and have this opportunity to work with our local law enforcement,” explains Theresa Johnston, owner. “We are always looking for ways to give back to the communities and residents that support our business. When we were approached about Project Blue Light we thought this would be a great opportunity to be more involved in the Carroll community, home to one of our newest locations for the Johnston Communications family.”
On Thursday, March 22, from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. Johnston Communications will be at Hy-Vee in Carroll handing out free blue light bulbs to those stopping by our booth. Attendees are asked to put their blue light bulbs on their front porch, garage or other visible outdoor fixture and turn the light on nightly as a statement of support for law enforcement.
Also, members of the Carroll Police Department and the Carroll K-9 Unit, Eudoris, will be on hand to greet members of the community. Johnston Communications will also be donating proceeds from the event as well as giving out Hy-Vee gift cards with every new Dish service agreement signed that day.
“We’d like to invite everyone to stop out and pick-up a free, blue light bulb and join us in saying thank you and supporting our area law enforcement,” adds Johnston.
